Consoles will get digital charts soon

A welcome step towards open digital data has been made, with new regular UK XBLA and PSN download charts in the works.

UKIE says it is preparing to offer a ranking of Xbox Live and PlayStation Network games in the UK once its PC download data is finally made public in the coming weeks.

In fact, chairman Andy Payne says an XBLA and PSN chart will be easier to pull together than the complicated PC one. (PS3, Xbox 360)
