Kotaku: A video turned up on YouTube today saying it was behind-the-scenes footage of a Deus Ex "Live Action Short Film". And it looks way too slick/expensive to be a fan film.
I believe this is actually motion capture. EDIT: My bad. sorry.
They wouldn't bother having makeup and costumes as we see on the woman playing Yelena and the other characters. Capture scan doesn't require costumes either. Inertial capture, as with Xsens uses a cam for video capture at the same time it records the MOCAP data from sensors but you still wouldn't use costumes. This could be an independent effort, but more likely a combination of the original MOCAP along with some canned marketing footage - hence the Yelena appearance.
I can see now it's not. Sorry.
Motion Capture? No way i work on this.... If it was Motion Capture they would have DOTS everywhere in their body and there would be a team of animators behind :)! If this is a Indie Movie... Hell it's amazing P.S You don't use the characters suits in MC
any one know the the theme song name?
Craig Armstrong - finding beauty. Remember hearing it on Top gear :)
thank you much
