BioWare CEO talks Mass Effect 3, Kinect and beyond

"Better with Kinect" -- Those are the words that Microsoft is using to describe anything that has the Xbox 360 Kinect attachment as an option.

Mass Effect 3, the upcoming blockbuster coming to the Xbox 360 and PC from developer BioWare, is being touted as being "better with Kinect" and BioWare CEO Aaryn Flynn doesn't seem to mind.

Wow, I know this is a local news story, but it has some errors. Arron Flynn isn't the CEO of Bioware, and Mass 3 is coming to PS3 also.

BioWare should end every piece of press with this picture, because frankly I feel like I'm being trolled by every nugget of tacked-on co-op/Kinect info they release.

Gah! I feel like they just C*** Slapped every one of their PC fans. "Hey, there no way in hell were adding mic support, but if you pay $250 for a steaming pile of crap we might add support... Maby."

There is ZERO reason not to have voice control on the PC, other than to have a lame reason to get people to buy the xbox/kinect/360 version.

It was shaky enough of an excuse when they claimed that the microprocessor in the Kinect was the big reason the ps3 wasn't getting it (because simple voice control takes SOOOOOOO much processing power /s). So then what's the excuse for PC?

They can deny it for eternity, but it's obvious why; Microsoft is paying them for it.

This kinect integration is so dumb why say sniper rifle which sometimes could take 2 to 3 attempts when you can hit RB and move a analog stick

Because they have to market Kinect to the core 360 audience somehow. It doesn't matter if it overcomplicates things; they have their reason to put into commercials on why you should buy the 360 version and an expensive peripheral.
