Skyrim is a tough game to enjoy sometimes, it's just so full of potentially game ruining glitches. Under all the issues though is a beautiful technical achievement that no gamer should miss out on.
Skyrim really is an amazing game. It's a shame some people have avoided it because of all the glitches.
I think that is the most important thing this dude points out. Anybody avoiding Skyrim because of glitches isn't really punishing anybody but themselves. It's an incredible game and worth trying. But that's just my two cents.
Well said. People should realise that a game so large will have bugs. Even small games often have hidden problems long after release. I doubt all the bugs will ever be removed from Skyrim. Will that take away from my enjoyment of the game? No.
I agree entirely, but these days, people either want a flawless game, or they're going to deem it utter rubbish, which is unfair.
Thing is, I agree but this is Bethesda's fault. That engine has some serious probs. Look at Oblivion, Fallout 3 and New Vegas. All had bugs, some were unfixed.. (F3 GOTY on PS3, Oblivion PS3, FNV lag on consoles.) And endless quest glitches. The games are great once you look past the technical issues.
I will gladly play elder scroll & fallout games bugs & all before a lot of other games out now a days! Ive platinumed Fallout 3, Fallout NV, & Skyrim & am eagerly waiting the next fallout or Elder Scroll game!
Glitches like , Backwards flying dragons are entertaining to me ....... fine . I am slightly upset with broken quests ----- not so good. But I can even tollerate that or the occasional hard freeze and total reboot . ( in any other game I would want a refund however such is the pull of this game world , I am willing to forgive it for almost anything . Sadly this game now freezes on my PS3 , every 5 minutes . So I spend all my time turning my system off and restarting it ....... Green scales fall like rain ........ I have finally given up and moved on to another game for now . I hope that Bethesda's next update will help even a tiny bit. .......... it does not really feel fair , with the cash outlay and so on . ( Just had to add that ) This is the first time a game has really died for me and my love of it is so GRAND breaks my heart . It is one of the most entertaining games to ever grace my console .
this game has f**ked me up the a** so may times yet i still play it
that is the gods honest truth mane i get so so so pissed at the fovking game! but i love the piss out of an cant put it down.
While I'm not nearly as deep into this game as other people seem to be (probably around 40 hours), I've really only seen one minor glitch with an NPC hovering a few feet from the ground. By trying to talk to them, they dropped to the ground and that was it. Also, having some trouble with one quest, but I'm pretty sure I killed someone I shouldn't have early on. I should add that this is on 360 I guess, but I've heard of other 360 gamers having more trouble than that. Now that I think of it, I actually saw more glitches while playing Red Dead (another game I love) than Skyrim so far. Just throwing out my experiences.
Playing it on PC, haven't ran into too many bugs. But the ones that popped up were pretty funny, not game break. Plus I save like every 5mins, so reload if anything happens. The guy is right, you shouldn't miss this game, the amount of content and beauty is above all.
Does anyone know when the next update is, i herd it was some time this month but its coming to a end soon??
