A video has been released on YouTube showing Nintendo Wii U’s Launch Game: Chase Me (Mii). The video is a developers demo at CES 2012.
the wii u will be full of games like this. the wii was full of shovelware and now the wii u seems to be going down the same route. if im wrong then where are the games for the wii u other than this chase me game. wii - ps eye copy( ps eye ps move in works since 2001) wii u - playstation remote play nothing revolutionary like ive been hearing and if the prices of the next generation consoles are close in prices then the wii u will have a big problem. nintendo games does well sales-wise because they are often times way cheaper
" if im wrong then where are the games for the wii u other than this chase me game. " In development fool. The console hasn't even been properly revealed yet. Everything shown so far have been tech demo's to show what the machine can do. Only games that have been announced are Tekken, Ninja Gaiden, Darksiders 2 and Pikmin 3. You're acting like a complete and utter fanboy. Give Nintendo a chance to actually show what games are coming out for it before you start your trolling. Going by your logic everyone copied Nintendo by having save game functions, Z targeting, 3D environments, rumble and lord knows what else. What a tool. Unlike some who are obviously paranoid about the Wii U, I'm just looking forward to a new piece of hardware coming out. Will keep me going until my PS4 and Xbox 720 come out. Hell I may even play it more than them when they are out. Just stupid to judge before the things even out. No doubt you were one of the many saying 'give the PS3 some time to blossom' when it was getting ripped by the media. You're not better than them.
wow, talk about insecure fanboys, lol. im sure the wii u will be ok with most of the third party games that will be released on xbox 360 and ps3. please calm down. i remember when i first saw the next gen systems that they showed games and tech demos and not just videos like nintendo showed for the wii u. the wii u was unveiled eight months ago and all that is being shown as a game is "chase mii". i know that when the next xbox and ps4 is shown that theyll actually show gameplay of several different games. i welcome disagrees also
^ lol. You're talking about insecure fanboys? You go around trolling on topics about nintendo when you obviously don't even like them. Gtfo troll.
"the wii u will be full of games like this. the wii was full of shovelware and now the wii u seems to be going down the same route. if im wrong then where are the games for the wii u other than this chase me game." -The wiiu isn't even out yet. Im sure it will have a plethora of party games seeing as how their fan base encompassed most of those games. If Nintendo can get back into gear with 3rd party support plus they're 1st party IP's it will be a great platform for games. It's one game for an unreleased system. "wii - ps eye copy( ps eye ps move in works since 2001) wii u - playstation remote play" -Yes, I'm sure Nintendo is lying in wait just waiting to steal everything Sony has ever done. Wiiu isnt a copy of remote play. Wiiu is said to offer remote play as a functionality, but so far it looks like an entire sepertate mechanic similar to that of a DS. 2 screen functionality running simultaneously for the same game. "nothing revolutionary like ive been hearing and if the prices of the next generation consoles are close in prices then the wii u will have a big problem. nintendo games does well sales-wise because they are often times way cheaper" - Wiiu will be fine, just like every other console. Its doing something new with a tablet as a controller. Being the same as everyone else doesnt mean they'll have a better chance. We will have to wait and see for price, tablet integration, specs and 3rd party support. Its hard to make a valid conclusion on anything when there is no information as of now. Secondly, its not like Nintendo games come out THAT much cheaper. 10 dollars less isn't that large of a gap. Granted, they dont price drop in a similar relation to other titles. Nintendo IP's tend to stay at the 40/50 dollar range for quite a while after realse. Where as most games tend to drop below that a good 6 months after release. Still wouldn't equate for the large gap in numbers though.
@Colwyn yea all the games in are development, this is just a demonstration on how the control can be used, you TROLL
I was sold with the Zelda demo.
Could be fun for 2 or 3 rounds.
I agree with you on this but this is a Tech Demo. I think something like this on the wiiu Mario Kart could work really well. I am looking forward to seeing what Nintendo do with the WiiU. I was not a big fan of the Wii or DS but the 3DS is amazing and shows how much they are changing to get the core back onto there systems and I think it will be the same with the WiiU.
To bad you can't use a GameCube controller because those people looked like they were having a very hard time moving around with the Wii remote. Also can you not jump in this game?
You are putting them to your standard. Go look at all kinds of videos on gameplay shorts. Most people annoy me because it looks like they don't know how to play. This is not a controller issue ( certainly not in this day and age ). It's the person who is just not up there with controlling characters right from the start.
*Facepalm* This is a simple CONCEPT DEMO people. It's not a game, nor is it a representation of a game Nintendo will do. It's just a demonstration to show developers what kind of ideas they can put into their games.
People, this trolling other companies thing is getting out of hand. If you don't like Nintendo, then go away and don't comment. When you make yourself look like a fool trying to diss Nintendo, and you back fire, you fail. #Endofrant
I bet most people on here bashing these demos shown so far, would love playing these if they could. they look like fun...yes FUN have people forgotten what that is and what we play most of these games for. whether its Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo if your all to cynical to enjoy these games maybe you should find something else to do.
