What We Want From Half-Life 3

Half-Life 3 is simply one of the most speculated about video games out there, and it might not even exist. But if it ever does materialize, there are a few things we’d love to see included. Here is a list.

The story is too old to be commented.

Am i the only one who doesn't like aiming down the sights? The gun always covers the beautiful kill animations. :D

Did I miss the Half-Life 3 announcement?

Nah they can't do that. Player two would only be able to see floating gordon freeman hands.

Nah really. Don't want no co-op in me Freeman game, Half Life.

Maybe something connected with Barney or Adrian Shepard for co op though... that I would endorse.

Meh! Co-op was alright in the first Half Life, and I won't mind if they do it for Half Life 3.

I agree with an official announcement. That's the only good thing that I can say about this article.

So help me god, if you bring ADS to this game i will start killing puppies. Why do i say this? Two reasons, ADS slows down gameplay and it adds uncertainty.

What do i mean by uncertainty? Well with ADS hip fire accuracy decreases naturally. This introduces luck, your bullets may or may not hit them unless you ADS. The golden rule to an enjoyable game is that if a player loses they should know it is their fault and why they lost.

ADS is for games that are slower paced, move from cover to cover and try not to get hit. Half life games are nothing like this, its all about killing the enemy before they can hurt you and moving on, a run and gun if you will.

What im trying to say is HL games are fast paced, adding ADS would break the fundamentals of the combat and just turn it into a call of duty.
