Square Enix sh*ts on Final Fantasy

I held hopes that FFXII-2 will change things up a bit, as had been announced by the basta*ds at Square Enix.

Well, apart from the demo, and several things have been leaked, including the OST of the game, among other things.

I'll just say one thing: SQUARE - ENIX, IROS a tomar por el culo (translation: you can stick it up your ass)

The Crazy Chocobo song, believe it or not---is actually composed by Final Fantasy (or Square Soft In general) music's Father, Nobuo Uematsu. He's contributed a few tracks to Final Fantasy XIII-2:

Yeah, I can see as parody where the music is as least decent, I mean I honestly like it to a degree, but in game as a constant looping track? There's no way I'm not going to get tired of it.

Its just this kind of thing, that you have former FF contributors putting in this ind of effort, that has me worried for vsXIII.

Wow. Nothing in that comment with opinionated and yet it got some disagrees... It is a fact that Crazy Chocobo is a Nobuo Uematsu song, and I added a citation source to prove it. Only on N4G can people disagree with an non-bias stated fact. LOL.

The "hater" part comes in because it's a frequently-stated opinion ("XIII sucks, and so will XIII-2!") generally based on little to no fact.

iamtehpwn stated a fact, and people disagreed with it.

You hate FFXIII/XIII-2, and go out of your way to make sure everyone knows it(for example). That you hate is a fact, but the hate itself is an emotion, a malleable non-constant, something that can never be a fact. When people spam that everywhere they go, and at the same time call people who DID enjoy the series noobs to FF or the reason the franchise is failing or any number of such things, it becomes an indication of someone being a hater.

Well, Nobuo Uematsu composed that song years and years ago. They probably tweaked it a little for XIII-2 but they have to give credit to him in it cause it's his song at heart.

Now the tweaks are the problem though. His song's in there. But it's changed so badly that it's hardly recognizable.

That's why his name is on a few songs cause he hasn't worked on FF since X I think.

No. It is composed by Nobuo Uematsu. And Just so you know Uematsu has composed for more Square Enix games after X. He contributed a song for 12, and he was responsible for the Final Fantasy XIV OST.

A good point - not a massive FF fan (I don't really like the genre, to be honest), but I do like some of the older music.

I've always thought the chocobo song was funny, which was it's intention. Plus you can change the song in the game I heard.

the rap in the Lake Bresha song isn't really much different than the rap in the persona OST's.I don't really care for either. But, the song is neat otherwise, maybe the U.S. will get the not japanase rapper one.

There are some really awesome songs on the OST though. Not that it's up with the best quality FF soundtracks (6,7,8 imo)

But it's not like Uematsu himself even composes like he use to (quality wise, listen to FFXIV OST, Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey). Still pretty darn good though.
