Dev claims Codemasters staff ‘horribly mistreated’

An ex-developer who worked for a Codemasters studio has claimed that the publisher operated ‘illegally’ and ‘threatened’ staff after ‘accidentally’ over paying them. Semi Essessi, who once worked on last year’s not so great FPS Bodycount, has claimed that after shutting down the Guildford studio Codemasters ignored hundreds of hours of unpaid overtime promised to staff.

that is just awful working standards. I see it happening all the time, but people dont stand up fear to losing their jobs.

Well good on him for speaking up, more should do so without these devs publishers would have nothing.
Also shame considering how a company such as codemasters started in retro days of 8bit now companys change grow expand get bigger then get greedy.
