Friday Top Five: 80s-90s shows that should be XBLA games

Voltron: Defender of the Universe proved that XBLA Fans could get our nostalgia back in downloadable titles. But while it’s a great cartoon universe, think of the possibilities for other classic cartoons to come back as XBLA games. XBLA Fans were raised on some of the best cartoons back then and some of them didn’t have games or had poorly licensed games that made no sense. ... open world HUB, lots of missions, side-missions, collectables, goofy characters, Adventure/RPG with real-time hack and slash action (think Ninja Gaiden/Arkham City) etc etc.

Also, I'd love to see a Battlefield-style game of GI JOE.

all sounds good to me, except not mentioning PSN, because that's what I have.

as for old shows, I'd like to see a Slayers beatemup.

Some of them would be cool to see but these types of games need to be placed with some better dev teams. The Voltron game on XBLA was pretty bad.
