Is the price right? 10 AAA games and what you'd really pay for them

OXM UK: "Our poll series asked you to pick preferred price points for 10 of last year's best-scored releases - The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, Saints Row 3, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Rayman Origins, Battlefield 3, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Batman: Arkham City, Forza Motorsport 4, Gears of War 3 and FIFA 12.

Here are a few of the more interesting findings, plus a dash of loose commentary."

Good story, although any one who studies economics knows that asking people what they would like to pay doesn't make a lot of sense. What you ought to do is just look at what people are effectively willing to pay : what games are more often bought used or in budget edition than others etc.

This really a good article, in regards to it though there are only 2 games, out of these 10, that I'll put price points on. The 1st is Saints Row: The Third (NOT WORTH $59.99, it lost a lot of what it had in SR2) BRAND NEW: $39.99, not a cent more! Last but not least, Batman: Arkham City: $59.99 (WORTH the set price point, SHOULD"VE been GAME OF THE YEAR, last year) the developers outdid themselves!
