Mario Kart 7 Review | Geared for Gamers

Twenty years ago, Nintendo launched the Mario Kart franchise, and it is still an energetic powerhouse in the world of virtual racing. With Mario Kart 7, developers have provided an excellent gaming experience which is the first in the series to utilize the innovative three-dimensional graphics of the 3DS handheld. The game showcases fun new features which will definitely grab your attention, but it does not reinvent the wheel, so to speak. Mario Kart 7 capitalizes upon the most popular elements of the previous installments, like great character and zone selection, and simplifies the controls system, resulting in a satisfying game with one of the shallowest learning curves of the Mario Kart series. (3DS, Mario Kart 7) 8.5/10
