I can't freakin wait for this game. The idea of two separate games taking place in the same universe... and not really being so separate, after all, is immensely appealing.

So far is rumored 32vs32 players in the battlefield, but it could change the amount of players.

This is a game that really will require skills not only in the gameplay as FPS, but also as an MMO like EVE, it require logistics, tactics and a lot of communication from the player to evolve.

Also CCP said the player can focus in other tasks and not only as mercenary in the battlefield, like gathering resources (maybe similar to the Miner of EVE) and other stuff.

Too bad it wont work as well as you just laid out. I hoped the same for mag. And that was just 256 ppl runnun around.

I have zero interest in eve online. Ill pick it up if it loooks fun but I wouldnt get hopes up for some type of gaming revolution With this gm. Your average fps gamer doewnt care

I think is not clear the differences and the different ways that each game can provide for the player.

MAG is different, not even an MMO. Also, it was repetitive because of the maps and content.
You can lose or you can win, and it won't affect you (only the stats) in a long term.

In DUST 514, besides of different types of Vehicles (from Land to airships) in the battlefield, it provides dynamic and deep content, it is a persistent game as MMO/FPS and the characters of each player can be fully customizable on his own way and depending on his creation it will be affected on his career as a Mercenary in a short to a long term.

The players will get the game seriously as EVE Online Pilots when they figure it out that other players have an advantage over them or there is more ways to evolve.

Besides of the Squads, it will require a lot of communication that goes beyond than MAG or any other shooter on consoles.

With Corporations that are already created in EVE, you can join them so you can help them or they will help you with resources. Or you can create Corporations of only DUST 514 players to make other type of tasks to conquer the 7,000+ Planets in the EVE Universe.

This are not my words, this comes from CCP Dev Blogs and many interviews regarding how DUST 514 will change the shooters on consoles.

EVE Online have free DLC's, so I think DUST 514 will have the same amount of DLC's for free (besides DUST 514 it is Free to Play).

MAG main feature was 256 Players. DUST 514 it provides more features as MMO/FPS game. The only thing it doesn't have is the amount of players as MAG, like I said, various sources are saying 64 players in the battlefield.

I'd love to see it work as wonderfully as described. I'm just hesitant about the game.

Its very ambitious. Its on my radar I just hope it works.
