Games with a Lot of Bang for Your Buck

Even though its 2012 there are plenty of games to fill the early year void. The best part of this that so many of these games are less then $20. Games like GTA IV, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, Saints Row 2, Mass Effect 2, Fallout 3, and lots of others. There are plenty of other games that offer a lot of bang for your buck. (Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, Grand Theft Auto IV, Mass Effect 2, PS3, Saints Row 2, Xbox 360)

Any roguelike game. You die you make a new character and try to get a better score

Roguelikes for the absolute win. Unfortunately, the best ones are on PC so most N4Gers will ignore 'em. There are some okay ones on the handhelds but they have nowhere near the depth of their PC brethren.

Metal Gear Solid 4. This is a game Ninja Theory could only dream of making in terms of story.
