GEV: Nintendo 3DS Game Review: Super Mario 3D Land

Those of you who have played the original Mario will love the style and gameplay of Mario 3D Land. The game takes you back to the same formula that the original games had. You play as Mario, trying to beat eight different worlds in linear levels. And at the end of each level, you get to jump on flags just like old times. Mario also doesn’t have a health bar in this game, which has become quite popular in new Mario games. Instead, Nintendo takes us all the way to old school Mario where he used to shrink down if he received damage. (3DS, Super Mario 3D Land) 4/5
