PSP Phone concept, I think I like this one the best

So gamers realize that when cellphone manufacturers try and combine gaming and cell-phones they usually screw it up, so in an effort to push Sony-Ericsson in the right direction, some guy came up with this design for the PSP phone. It maintains the full functionality of the PSP but adds the phone functionality in.

I think this is a very good concept of a design that could work. I believe it could be slightly simpler though. Instead of it sliding on an angle to play games it should just slide straight out the opposite way from the phone function. Just easier to manufacture.

It needs two analog sticks, not one & it needs a L2 & R2. L3 & R3 is fine without it other then that the phone looks cool.

no true model is revealed yet

To be honest I don't want MS to enter the handheld market. I think MS saw that Nintendo was too dominate in the handheld market, and decided to keep out. Unfortunately for them Sony came and did a great job establishing their own handheld. I don't think there's room for 3 handheld on the market, there's barely enough for 3 consoles. If Microsoft did make a handheld it would be this super advance handheld that would share all third party games with the new PSP. So I don't want a Xbox portable. DS Advance or PSP2 will due just fine.

though it all depends on the price and whether or not the phone comes unlocked with the upcomming google phone software. That would be a serious iphone competitor.

Pretty cool concept. Can't wait to see what Sony actually has in store. I'm thinking it's unveiling should come around 2009 with the PSP2 launching around 2011.

I'm assuming the PS4 doesn't launch 'till 2013 however should it launch 2012 instead then the PSP2 will likely come out in 2010... or so it would seem. :)

Nice concept, but my idea is better. The 3.2 MP camera is nice, but if they did add a camera it'll probably be only 2 MP like most other smart phones. More MP would be nice, but I think Sony would want to keep the price down to around $250-$299.

SCRAP this stupid concept. You won't make much profit off of it, if any. The PSP already does more than it should. Don't through a massive wrench into it. How's about concentrating on the GAMING side of both your handheld and next gen console market?
