Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand is the first downloadable content for Battlefield 3. It is available to anyone who purchased Battlefield 3: Limited Edition at no extra charge.
MP1st - Battlefield 3′s Gameplay Designers, Gustav Halling and Alan Kertz talk MAV exploits and the differences between BF2 versions of the Back to Karkand Maps and their BF3 counter-parts.
I don't care about the Mav exploit. If it stays or goes, it doesn't bother me. All the people using it too my knowledge were still able to be killed.
Im ready for a usas 12 frag nerf and taking repair tool out of helicopter cockpits
The MAV exploit was fun to use though. I hope they still allow the MAV to roadkill people though.
Hooked Gamers writes: "In truth, the DLC, isn’t exactly bringing something - new - to the table. If you have played earlier versions of the Battlefield series, you may feel a slight sense of déjà vu. The DLC adds a number of multiplayer maps from Battlefield 2, but redesigned using the Frostbite 2 engine to make them shine like never before."
Good map-pack and well worth having for those of us who pre-ordered and got it for free.... but over-priced for those people who did not pre-order!
BC2 Vietnam was kind of worth it as it was like an addon... but this is a map-pack so costs too much. That said I prefer the maps to the ones that came with BF3.
It’s been a few months since the release of Battlefield 3. By now, many players have memorized each detail of every map, unlocked all their weapons and attachments, blasted away at the single player and co-op campaigns, and have driven or flown more miles in vehicles than can be counted. With boredom looking like a possibility to some players, the massive tank that is the Back to Karkand expansion pack busts through the wall like an armed-to-the-teeth Kool-Aid Man. This expansion is free to all owners of the Limited Edition, and is available for 1200 Microsoft Points, or $15, for everyone else. Load up your weapon of choice, and get ready for battle!
Snipers never win. Pussies.
Strike at Karkand...not "Attack on Karkand."
