Why Nathan Drake would make a fantastic homosexual

I was reading this very nice article on Gamasutra about the dearth of legitimate homosexual characters in videogames, and was particularly struck by writer Andrew Meade's suggestion at the end -- make Nathan Drake gay. noooooooooo dont let him get married at the end of uncharted 4 and he has kids and they start off uncharted 5 and drake comes to help in 5 till he becomes old

TheBlackMask2274d ago

I agree about the kids, they should NEVER EVER EVER have children.

But Drake and Elena are already married

Snookies122274d ago

No no, they're engaged, not married... Right?

rabidpancakeburglar2274d ago (Edited 2274d ago )

If they were engaged then Drake would not have a ring. There may be some unconventional men who like a ring during engagement in this day and age but I doubt ND would give him an engagement ring.

Plus it clearly isn't an engagement ring that Elena has on.

"It makes sense from a story perspective"
No it doesn't.

n4gisatroll2274d ago (Edited 2274d ago )

I agree. I don't understand how it would make perfect sense in the story. There's plenty of men, who do not have lasting relationships. It's a commitment issue, not a gay issue.

cyguration2274d ago

Doesn't that also completely destroy the "we don't choose to be gay we're born that way" since Drake was clearly with Chloe?

Was Dumbledore really gay or is Destructoid trolling?

life doomer2274d ago

Agent Smith2274d ago

Dumbledore's really gay but Destructoid's always trolling.
