Good Things Come to Those Who Wait: Pikmin 3

From Toasty Controller...

"Yep, Pikmin is skipping the Wii. This is far from the worst thing in the world, the Wii U is no doubt going to be at least twice as strong as the Wii thus leaving room for a much better overall title, but the controller... how the heck is this gonna work?

Let's not forget the last time an iconic Nintendo franchise completely skipped a console. Metroid managed to never find a fitting home on the Nintendo 64, after a Metroid hiatus on that console we went on to receive arguably the greatest game in the entire series, maybe even the greatest game to release for the GameCube; Metroid Prime. This was the first game in the series to appear on a console since Super Metroid released for the SNES in 1994, and Prime released in 2002. Yeah, a whopping eight year difference."

I loved pikmin it's the only RTS I ever really loved. Seriously hope they make a third I've been itching for a new one. Its one of the reasons why I watch the Nintendo conference at E3

Yeah pikmin was awesome, but if you have a Wii and liked pikmin I HIGHLY suggest playing "Little Kings Story" as it is heavily influenced by pikmin and a very worthy game of any pikmin fan.

pikmin was an awesome game, cant wait to play it again on wii u.

They shouldn't make it only for the Wii U. The console will cost probably 250 dollars then 60 bucks for 1 game! They can make a Nintendo 3DS version and call it Pikmin 3D! That would be fun!

They have already said the Wii U would be significantly more expensive then the Wii at launch (straight from Reggie)... no official price, but my guess would be in the range of $400, $350 at its cheapest, and games... not sure, since it will be ahead of PS3 and 360 it could be 60, but because it will only be ahead for a short time before PS4 and whatever Xbox calls their new system, it just may stay at $50. Here's hoping I guess.

But back on topic Pikmin is awesome and I can't wait to play 3 when it launches.

I would love to see how well a Nintendo console does at that price range.
