Supposed Super Smash Bros Universe New Character List

Another day another rumour, this time the rumour comes direct from a Japanese image board and has been reposted on 4Chan. The original poster basically claims that he has a leaked document containing the character line-up for the forthcoming Smash Bros game which is already confirmed for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. The list reads: (3DS, Super Smash Bros., Wii U)

4Chan the source? =Fake.

You know Capcom, They won't let him be in unless he's DLC...

I wish this list was real but I call BS until I see an official announcement. Considering that development hasn't even started from the start of E3, I doubt Smash Bros will even be a launch title and we will probably see it 1 or even 2 years after launch.

Really doubt this is real.

If I remember correctly, at last E3, Nintendo confirmed they hadn't even started development on the game yet.

If this is genuine, this could just be a list of supposed characters to be included. Although I don't understand why Sonic is mentioned on the list since he was already in Brawl.

I doubt characters like Shulk will appear.

For the next SSB, two characters I want:

Raiden (MGS4): Since Gray Fox is already in Brawl as an assist trophy, Raiden (MGS4 version) should be in the game.

Knuckles (Sonic): I would have chosen Shadow but he's already in Brawl as an assist trophy. Knuckles could be a heavy powerful character.

I notice that too. I couldn't put an image on this one, everytime I tried it gave me an error. And I saw that almost all news/articles/etc on the site dont have an image. Maybe is a glitch or bug on the site.

Saki Amamiya and Layton? If this is true (and I dont think it is) then I'm sold.

How the hell am I going to play Super Smash Bros. with only one controller per console? Smash Bros. is best played locally and the Wii U better allow local play.

Not to mention that playing Smash with the Wii Remote sucks as compared to playing with a Game Cube controller. Considering that the GC won't be compatible, it looks like we'll be forced to use Wii Remotes. Ugh. But then, for those of us who have the 3DS, that will probably be an option too.

I'm crossing my fingers that they release a normal controller for the WiiU that is GameCube like, for people that don't want to use the touchscreen.
