Uncharted: Golden Abyss Review - JPS

"The Uncharted series has been a system seller due to its blockbuster presentation compared to actual Hollywood movies. I've been playing it and it's very good. I didn't think I would, but using the touch screen for the climbing sections is really nice.

The only minor gripe I have is that the action seems to take place in only a few different locations, so there's not as much variety in that regard.

yep, bend said that they'd focus more on the exploration aspect of the game more than the combat. I hope in the next uncharted game for the vita there will be a huge noticeable leap like from drake's fortune to among theives.

Well, there's definitely much more of a focus on puzzles and problem solving. There's still plenty of combat though. Personally, I really like aiming with the gyroscopes (in fact, using the analogue stick to aim initially, then use gyro aiming for the final, minor adjustments). It works really well once you get used to it.
