With regards to Twisted Metal, I'm guessing that it just wasn't on as many people's radar, being a PlayStation 3 exclusive and some of the staff (but not the majority) mainly using Xbox 360. This is not to say however that it doesn't look good, just that there are other games that have us more excited.
As for Diablo 3...well I can't really explain why as it is certainly one of my more sought after. Since then though we've had that opening cinematic which I know certainly caught the rest of our attention!

These 2 games are not direct sequels either and have comepletly different takes, especially Prey 2. Tomb Raider is a reboot AKA Uncharted influenced title, so there is a tiny bit of improvement on the mulitplat side. Sony is again delivering top knotch. 360 has a crap ton of Kinect games if your into that as well.
Also, I dont know about you dudes, but I am so damn excited for the Vita. There are a bunch of games there to get as well. Some are sequels but then you get orignals like Gravity Rush/Daze and Escape Plan. Hopefully Vita will have a Fallout game too. I just want to use it as a Pipboy so bad. I would love to get Fallout 3 remastered to Vita. I would play it all over again.
