Nano Assault Review | Game Podunk

GP: "The first time I saw screenshots of Nano Assault, I was immediately impressed. There were definitely some impressive textures going on (for a handheld game, no less), but it was the premise that caught my attention. Unlike developer Shin'en's previous Nanostray games, Nano Assault is not set in outer space; rather, it takes place in the heart of different cell clusters as you control a nanite ship attempting to discover the secrets to a deadly virus and how to destroy it.

Of course, it's not the most original plot ever (after all, there have been at least two movies which have featured that particular plot device first), but Nano Assault proves to be an extremely accessible and otherwise solid shoot'em up."
