You know I always assumed the Vita would use Gorilla glass lol.

I've never been a big fan of screen protectors. They are (for me) too noticeable on any device and distracts to no end. And hearing that the device doesn't scratch easy is very good to hear. I know its a device you should protect from scratches and such but the only thing touching that screen is my finger. And I am getting a good case with the First Edition bundle so I am comfortable about not getting a screen protector. Never got one for my PSP and it still looks good so I'm not worried.

I never got what screen protectors were for... I mean, great your screen won't get scratched, but the protector will. in the end, you'll have a device that looks scratched, but in reality isn't. I don't see anything positive about that

I guess it doesn't reduce the value or makes the owner feel like they are not treating their expensive product like trash.

Still I do fine without them.

Who needs a screen protector when you have the best warranty money can buy.

Complete Coverage and Accidental Damage.

If lost or stolen get a new one, if you drop and crack the screen get a new one, no questions asked.

I don't think I will get a screen protector. I think I am going to get that semi soft case that looks cushy and just take care of my Vita. I had a screen protector on my iPhone and it always looked like crap and made the rouching less accurate, plus they are too expensive.

Who's going to down $250 and go cheap on screen protectors? Don't take a chance

I always find screen protectors hard to put on, the one on my psp is kind of off a little bit. They need to make them bigger than the screen for some error.

Does ZAGG make a PSP/Vita sized screen protector? Their protectors have been the best I've used by miles.

Yeah i dont like those . If solid enough and similar to usual tablets , i'll just put it in a special bag instead , when not using it .

I've yet to scratch any touch screen , and even my psp was in top shape till resold .

My PSP is still in top shape for like...7 years now.

I immediately got one when I picked up my Vita on the 17th. I don't tend to have trouble putting them on and now, if it's scratched, whoopee, I pay 100 yen to get a new one. Can't replace a screen that quickly, that cheaply, or that easily.

Grabbed a hard-shell carrying case too because I was set to get on a plane the next day.

I always have good usage of any screen protector I use I have one on my PSP and it looks amazing no scratches nothing one of the best investments I could make for a handheld or also my phone. The trick to putting them on is using something like a credit card to press down on the screen protector as you slowly apply it to the screen then push out any bubbles with the card, sometimes may not even have any bubbles at all.

Screw everything I said I'm being safe and buying a screen protector come launch.

double post :/

Good to know that the screen is durable, but I'm still not taking any chances. A screen protector is going on that thing the second I unbox it.
