@xg247 After my mind had finished exploding at the black-aperture.com homepage, I decided to download the image and have it as my phone's background. What I found out then started my mind exploding all over again.
Really? At a site called black aperture there is the aperture science logo....in BLACK! This blew his mind? I fear he needs to get out more. Lets hope no-one points him in the direction of... stuffonmycat.com As once he types this into his browser he might see stuff people have put on their cats...his life may never be the same again, maybe his brain would actually implode this time. But seriously...I fail to see how anyone could be surprised to find anything from either game merging anymore. Hints were given in Portal 2, and the name of the website is BLACK-APERTURE! THIS IS NOT NEWS IT IS ONE PERSONS OPINION ABOUT FINDING OUT WHAT A SITES NAME IS A DESCRIPTION OF WHAT IS IN IT.
Why are you being such a d**k about it? I think it's you who needs to get out more if an article like this gets you so cranked up like it's your first time on N4G. Anyway, I think it's cool that he found it himself, and I look forward to more of this type of thing as we get closer to the reveal date of my most anticipated game since....probably ever.
This is a private registration. Sure, someone at Valve could have hidden the real registrant to protect the reveal, but I'd say another explanation is that someone spent $10 on a domain in order to get a few ad clicks...
This has nothing to do with Valve........therefore my mind rolled over and went back to sleep! *just some private owned website not affiliated with Valve*
Yo dawg, I heard you like logos, so we put a logo into a logo, so you can see a logo while you see logo.
Just spare us the suspense valve & just give us a release date & the rest of the details! Cheers Gamers & Happy Gaming!
Do not expose yourself too much to this logo-within-a-logo thing, or else you may find yourself in the last layer, which is called logo limbo. And let me tell you this, I'd been stuck there for a century and now I see friggin logos everywhere.
HEll Yes, been waiting for something, anything!
YES! This is getting my dick wet!
The site is a FAKE. WHY? THERE IS NO HALF-LIFE 3 REGISTERED AS THE US TRADEMARK OFFICE. The HL graphic logo has the ® Trademark symbol which is AGAINST FEDERAL LAW to use unless the Trademark has been registered and accepted by the government. Do a simple trademark search and you'll see that there's no listing for Half-Life 3. Also highly doubt Valve would register a HL3 related domain in private. Why obfuscate anything when Valve is a public company. Also the timing (Christmas Eve) is highly suspect. It's one of the few times of the year that you can guarantee that the legal department is out of the office. So this site will most likely stay up till Monday.
