The Mysterious PlayStation Vita Dolphin Test Screen

As with any new hardware, there are various reports out there about screen freezes, bugs and other issues with PlayStation Vita.
Here's a more serious issue: a Vita that's stuck in what appears to be a debug mode.

There's no way to tell if this is legit or not (although it would be quite a lot of work for a hoax), but if you do see some low polygon dolphins swimming on your Vita OLED screen, you should probably contact Sony customer.

Oh I thought it was Noby Noby Boy on

In seriousness, what does this mean? I would reset the console or at a minimum call sony too.

I hope this didn't happen because they found a way to hack the Vita. But I honestly believe that it's some weird defect that, that person has with their Vita. This issue won't be wide spread.

I think this came about because someone was trying to hack his/her Vita.

Looks like somebody has found an exploit.. Interesting.

When I read the title I came in thinking they someone had already hacked the PS Vita to run the Wii and Gamecube Dolphin emulator, not to see some actual dolphins floating around on screen.

Got my hopes up too high, but a Wii and Gamecube emulator running on PS Vita would solidify that purchase even more.

Yep and free Vita games as well. Once devs get a whiff of piracy on the Vita they will stop dropping support as a goat craps pellets

You want the Vita to have lots of dev support right?

You are probably the most sensitive Sony loyalists I have ever seen on this site.

Congratulations on being the biggest crybaby on N4G.
