BioWare working on SWTOR character transfers, suggests avoiding swamped servers

XMNR: Unsurprisingly, servers for Star Wars: The Old Republic are swamped now that the game is fully released to all the wanna-be Jedis, Sith, Smugglers and Bounty Hunters. BioWare is working on the problem and has some suggestions on creating new characters plus plans to implement character transfers. (PC, Star Wars:The Old Republic)

I just posted this on swtor forums today. I hope they add character transfers soon. Servers are getting hammered. 1/2 hour wait for me most times =\

I want this game so bad. Played the beta until my fingers were bleeding. I just know once this xmas break is over it's back to school and no play.

I had a 40 minute wait last night - switched servers and made a new character - luckily I was only level 10

Trust me to have chosen Frostclaw... I started playing on 2nd day of early access as well.
The Frostclaw queues get up to over an hour sometimes.
