I really think Uncharted should be number one instead of Ratchet & Clank even though I love both and they both rock. I'd also put Warhawk in a higher position.

Yeah, i was surprised it wasn`t at number one to be honest. A good list though, since multiplayer games like COD4 wasn`t there (for the reasons they stated, but still)

Games like COD4 and Rock Band indeed feel missing but as they said, it's only first-parties or the ones that are better on PS3.
They should have waited a bit for UT3 to arrive for PS3. That would have easily made it to top 3 IMO.

It be Warhawk hands down cant get enough of it even with all the cheats and crap online service from Incog...
Just something about them jets that keep me coming back (daily since launch) adn with a new map out soon and the promise of a patch to fix some of the glitches... Im pretty hyped.
RC/tod is the only game Ive wrapped since I bought WH (still havnt finished it in challenge mode)Id add AC to the list for sure but since its exclusives only...

Also, They could have used Eye of Judgement instead of Oblivion. Glad to see Everyday Shooter in a high position, it's definitly an underlooking gem.

I have a blast with EoJ, but it's more niche and it's not a guaranteed "I like" kinda game. It's good though.

4 of the best ps3 games to date and no one wanted to give them the time of day... "shrugs" I simply don't understand it. It's like... next-gen made the bar so unatainable for interest it's not even applicable to play anything by the industry standards. That's how bad it's gotten.

I'm so glad I can make my mind up and buy the games I wanna buy without fearing I might have not been in the majority.

I got Genji 2 and Folklore. I loved the first Genji and wanted to try the 2nd despite the criticism, it's a good game but it was rushed for launch with some features you can OBVIOUSLY see are missing like the horseback thing and the RPG elements from the first are all but gone. Folklore is just dope, I can't believe that game didn't get a lot of exposure, I hope Game Republic revisits both franchises in the future. As far as the other 2, I was going to wait for Lair to drop in price and I didn't like Untold Legends on PSP so I stayed away from the PS3 one.

I feel you on that man. So many people seem to think that you have to fellow the path, tastes, and life style of the man next to them instead judging things for themselves.

Ive been playin it and its not as pixar like as people make it out to be. I love the game but its not a 9.0+ game maybe like 8.5. I just got uncharted played the demo and was not to impressed. still waiting for ut3 and resistance. 2 online shooters should help my opinion about the ps3. i do love the intro though. that s**t is sleek.

also you gotta admit six axis is pretty f**kin useless. Wow move ratchet as he avoids cars skydiving, tilt the tornados, and ummm thats about it. I can see developers just throwing stuff in to use the sixaxis. i want rumble now.

Then this article is garbage. 40p lag-free online deathmatch sessions PWNS R&C, shooting to the beat of acoustic guitars, and anything else deemed more worthy of "must playing."

Why not add Lair as a must play for its *unique* controls? Lamepro fails.

i would have kept it to the Playstation 3 exclusives (afterall, exclusives are a lot of the reason why some folks choose one system over the other).

my list would be

10.) Folklore - beautiful, haunting, intriguing. unique gameplay, and effectively uses the Sixaxis motion controls for capturing folks.

9.) Motorstorm - one of the best offroad racers out there. great visuals, fantastic crashes, and fun races. lots of downloadable content.

8.) Resistance: Fall of Man - first AAA title on the PS3, but underappreciated by the masses. excellent story, excellent multiplayer. pure fun.

7.) Ninja Gaiden Sigma - for the hardcore gamer. impressive visuals, frenetic gameplay. combines everything that was in the original release on the X Box, and Ninja Gaiden Black. definitive version of the game.

6.) Super Stardust HD - probably the best PSN title to date. addictive, hard to put down, beautiful visuals and sound.

5.) Unreal Tournament 3 - one of the premiere, most respected online shooters out there, now available on the PS3. superb visuals, fast, frenetic gameplay, and the ability to download user and developer created mods from the PC version.

4.) Warhawk - the definitive online shooter for the PS3 to date. lag free, 32 player simultaneous battles, ground and air battles.

3.) Heavenly Sword - beautiful story, visuals, music, and acting. fun combat. God of War fans should feel somewhat at home, but the games are decidedly different in scale and tone.

2.) Ratchet and Clank Future - gorgeous visuals, funny story, great gameplay and variety. parents and kids can enjoy the game. surprising amount of depth for a title geared towards the younger crowd.

1.) Uncharted: Drake's Fortune - possibly the best Playstation 3 game to date. the visuals are absolutely astounding, the story is one of the best around, and the voice-acting and characterization is spot on. varied gameplay, intense gunfights and brawls, and death-defying leaps, Uncharted is the reason to own a Playstation 3.

i own all these games (well, Unreal Tournament 3 next week), and they are hands down the reason why i bought a PS3 in February of this year. i still think Uncharted is the game of the year in my opinion, as it's about as flawless a game as i've experienced (actually, Uncharted and Bioshock are tied, to me, for game of the year).

4- Rand C FUTURE - SAME GREAT PLATFORMING
5- RESISTANCE - BEST FPS ON THE PLAYSTATION PLATFORMS
