1UP's Full impressions of the three-map 'Heroic Pack.'

1UP writes:

"Even in the short period between the events of Halo 2 and Halo 3, inflation can rear its expensive head. For Spartans and Elites to rumble during the days of Halo 2, it cost roughly $2 per new, downloadable map. Microsoft recently announced the Heroic Map Pack for Halo 3, due Dec. 11. The cost: 800 Microsoft Points for three maps (with current Earth exchange rates, that comes out to be about $3.33 each)."

The story is too old to be commented.

i might - not sure really - i'm not a big online FPS fan, but i've played my fair share of halo 3 (not a spartan officer yet which shows how little i play it though).

Personally i'm hoping for a playlist change to allow 16 player big-team-battles in ranked matches (unless i'm being an idiot and they are there already).

no ur not an idiot max ranked is 8 players team and 6 solo, no big team battles in ranked

I'm done with Halo 3 (collected all the achievements), I'm a level 42 Commander. I don't like the idea of paying $10 for just three maps. I'll stick with Call of Duty 4...

If people didn't purchase everything on the marketplace (such as halo maps), they might try reducing prices of stuff. People create their own demons.

Buy the way, I realized 90% of content on the xbox live marketplace is useless.
