The Witcher 2 vs. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Experience one man's struggle to name the winner. (PC, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, The Witcher 2: Assassins Of Kings)

If I had to pick I would pick Witcher 2. But following that statement I loved Skyrim too.

The Witcher 2 vs. Skyrim......
gotta catch'em all!!!

I loved TW2......will not play Skyrim until the Summer of 2012 when Devs/Pubs don't release any games!

But seriously would take both in heartbeat!

I love RPGs but for some reason I never finished either of the Witcher games.

Skyrim for me!

The witcher 2 easily , despite skyrim's excellence

Witcher 2 is the better overall game, but Skyrim is up there. Witcher 2's story and setting make it the better game.

I've never played The Witcher 1 or 2 but it must be a damn good game. I have been playing Skyrim nonstop since it got released. I am addicted to Skyrim and I will get The Witcher2 when it comes to xbox then I will see this amazing game.

Witcher 2 was more fun overall, but Skyrim is not far behind.

They're different types of games. Witcher 2 is a heavily narrative led story with plenty of choices and some branching mission paths and a vastly more exciting combat system.

Skyrim is a much more open ended, free form and dynamic world (see dragons) with more raw choice but will less attention and care paid to its main storyline.

I personally enjoy The Witcher 2's style more, but they're vastly different games despite both being RPGs so it comes down considerably to personal preference. Will be interesting to see what people say when it finally comes out on consoles.

witcher 2 was better for me, but probably because I played morrowind, fallout 3, oblivion and fallout new vegas already. Witcher 2 felt fresh and exciting.

Its a tough pick,
Quality vs quantity
The witcher 2 is top notch from every angle, not to say skyrim isnt top notch but skyrim has so much to do and its got that personal touch.
I cant really make a choice, their about equal to me, the witcher 2 is like and energy drink, Your going to have more fun minute for minute, while skyrims like a 12pack of mountain dew, not quite as big of a punch per shot but it'le last you all night.
