Good Candidates for a Playstation Fighting Game

Sony has recently announced they are going to come out with a fighting game akin to Super Smash Brothers. The biggest question is who will be in the game? Can gamers expect Kratos, Nathan Hale, Sackboy, Jak, a Colossus, Sweet tooth, Drake, and Crash? These are just some of the characters we hope make into the game. Goozernation also is wondering when Microsoft will release their fighting game? (Industry, Microsoft, PS3, Sony)

I like the idea of Kevin Butler as a playable character, for sure :) Cole from inFAMOUS would be fun. Like a much better Pikachu.

what about Kevin Buttler as the eqvuilant of Hand as the Giant last boss like in Super Smash Bro :P ?

I was thinking that, or Sony's original mascot

would love cole as a character but my main concern isnt really about what characters make it but how will the gameplay play out
i remember there was a japanese game i used to have called battle stadium DON which they tried to make it similar to smash brothers, but failed in the gameplay department

Petty sure Sony didn't announce anything. Some random guy by the name Paul Gale was the one who leaked it. Do we know the guy is telling the truth and that those leaked pictures were really from the game and not just made up?

No.

This could even be a plot by Sony. Whereas the game isn't in development at all, but Sony sent some guy to stir up a commotion to see if the idea would get hype and if it did (which IT DID), they would begin development. Either way, this is a huge deal, and something Sony must not mess up if they are in fact working on it.

This is and will be a system seller (I'll bet a PS4 launch), but not if Sony screws it up by putting a bunch of secondary characters from hit series in (ex. Elena/Sully from Uncharted, WTF?? No!), a bad and unoriginal combat system, having a serious tone instead of a silly and fun tone, and bad level designs with no fun mini-games. This needs to be a party fighter like that of Smash, meaning fun is the main priority, on top of having a great cast that spans all generations of playstation.

@Parapaxis - agreed, but this is an excellent roster of characters. JUST thinking about makes me want it even more to be true. PLZ SONY DO IT.....AND make it on the VITA aswell!!

It would be great to get some of that Vita/PS cross-platform compatibility for this!

Rico has to be there, I would love to beat the crap out of him! I would also like to see Lazarevic, when it comes to badass only Kratos stands above him.
