So, in this era of online shooters and massively multiplayer experiences, it would take a truly exceptional game to ignore the trends and still produce a hit. Fortunately, that is exactly what developer Bethesda has done with their latest offering, "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim."
Replaying Skyrim after 13 years is a reminder of the progress made in western RPGs over the last decade, but also what's been lost.
