New Releases for the Week of December 4th-December 10th, 2011

With last week’s lackluster offerings behind us, the next seven days looking remarkably brighter, with a handful of interesting choices. From the return of a few familiar titles (Final Fantasy VI, The Oregon Trail and the seventh iteration in the Mario Kart series) to a handful of promising new games (Nano Assault and Fortune Street), holiday shopping lists may need some thirteenth-hour adjustments. (3DS, Final Fantasy VI, Fortune Street, Jaws: Ultimate Predator, Just Dance 3, Mario Kart 7, Nintendo DS, PC, PS3, PSP, The Oregon Trail, Wii, Xbox 360)

Maybe Mario Kart. Fortune Street might get a rental.

Mario Kart 7! Nintendo really knows how to be creative and developing new games that feel fresh. Too much pointless sequels these days, Nintendo really knows how to raise the bar!
