Skyrim Werewolves: Is it the best of the werewolf games?

Werewolves in Skyrim are great, but is it the best werewolf game ever? (Culture, PC, PS3, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Xbox 360)

I haven't gone hands on with those other examples. In Skyrim, being a werewolf came in handy once or twice at a low level. But eventually it's useless. You can't use your magic/potions/weapons/armor/bl ocking and you can't heal. So go up against a group of armored warriors, mages, or archers at a formidable level and you're going to have some trouble.

I barely scratched the surface of this kickass game. But my only question is this, do all warewolves look alike? Or do they have varied colors and fur patterns? If not somebody should write the developers and have them do something about that, because after all, real wolves don't all look alike or are the same color. Having only one type of warewolf seems super lame.
