Here's an FAQ about the just-announced merger of Vivendi, Blizzard and Activision direct from Blizzard's website.

Q: Will Activision and Blizzard now share development teams?
A: No, both of our companies will continue to operate as they have previously with regard to game development.

Q: Will the release schedules for any Blizzard games be impacted?
A: No, the transaction will not have any impact on our games, our day-to-day operations, or our release timelines.

After reading this QA I feel more calmed with the merging :)

Blizzard is the best Dev out there everything they touch is gold.

And infinity ward is up there too. So its nice to hear they aren't gonna change anything. This whole thing sounds like a financial matter to me. Good for us gamers. They will probaly have higher budgets to make games now.

well Im really confident in this merge, becuz Vivendi(blizzard's owner)got majority of the share
