Retrospective: The Legacy of Kain Series

here’s no obsession with the clichés; Legacy of Kain stands out against them. There are no princesses to be saved or really any commonalities with more popular fantasy videogames, just good storytelling. And while that’s not a central need for all videogames – when handled well – it makes an exceptional difference. (Blood Omen 2: Legacy of Kain, Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain, EA, Legacy of Kain: Defiance, Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 2, Retro)
