Gaming Gauge writes: "Digital download shops have created something of an even playing field in recent years. It’s an area where a small indie developer can be just as successful as a giant media conglomerate and where quality (theoretically) rises to the top. This brings me to Pyramids, one of the first games for the 3DS eShop, coming not from a major publisher but from small UK publisher Enjoy Gaming. The game is really quite surprising."
"Enjoy Gaming announces that their second 3DS-exclusive title, Block Factory, is now available at a reduced price. Blech, you say? Well, at least platform support continues."
GameZone: "Most individuals purchase physical 3DS games at retail, so quite a few digital releases fly under the radar — unless they’re titled Pushmo. Here are 10 eShop games you may not have played but should definitely check out."
"When Enjoy Gaming announced the development of Pyramids as an eShop download, what caught my attention almost immediately was its resemblance to Solomon's Key. Nice as it is to draw inspirations from other titles, it's even better when a new IP is able to stand out on its own. That said, I'm not sure that Pyramids has much else going for it. It's one thing to have challenging gameplay, but when other avenues demonstrate a lack of polish, the quality of the overall experience suffers. And, sad to say, that's exactly what has happened here." -- Wiiloveit.com
