Mario Kart Multiplayer Memories

With Mario Kart 7's release imminent, Egg Says Whut? decided now was as good a time as any to take a little whirl down memory lane and look back on the Mario Kart games from generations gone by. Specifically, we wanted to look back on what it was that made the series so special to us with regards to its timeless, classic multplayer modes. We also look to the future of Mario Kart multiplayer and speculate on what Nintendo may have in store for us in future generations.

What are your fondest Mario Kart multiplayer memories? (3DS, GameCube, Mario Kart 64, Mario Kart 7, Mario Kart DS, Mario Kart Wii, Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, Mario Kart: Super Circuit, Retro, Super Mario Kart, Wii)
