Greg Kasavin: "Gerstmann Goes Off"

Former Gamespot editor-in-chief Greg Kasavin, who left GameSpot to join EA as an associate producer for Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars in January of 2007, added a new entry to his GameSpot blog on November 30, 2007:

"Jeff Gerstmann and I got to work together at GameSpot for 10 years. It seems he didn't get a chance to properly say goodbye here this week. This is simply the opinion of a longtime fan of this site: As the longest-tenured GameSpot editor, Jeff Gerstmann deserved a respectful send-off."

I love how he ends it with his bias showing thru in full force. "Master Cheif says it best... "we'll be fine" What, does master chief also tuck you in at night too, ya SLOP DONG CRICKET D*CK!!? This guy makes me sick.

"Gamesblow" makes more people sick than Kasavin, Surfer Girl or anyone could do.

I haven't seen you spamming the tip section for quite a while. So what happened?

gamesblow3436d ago

Even more irony here... You make more people sick than either he or I. Funny days in deed.

How many fvcking articles are we going to see about this situation? Enough already. My God....

The legendary Kasavin speaks...........

And says nothing.... Geez Kasavin get some balls.

Danja3436d ago

LOL...well he was once employed by Gamespot what did you expect..

He now works at EA...the ruler of mediocre games...just like gamespot and it's reviews..!!

"Always speak in a positive or neutral manner about your former employees/colleagues."

You don't want to be caught talking sh*t about your former employee, as this will put off your current employee and possible future employees.

That's just how it works, balls or no balls. ;)

That's him!?! I love this guy! I watched so many of his video reviews, and he always added a bit of comedy to On the Spot. I barely saw anybody in the video reviews except this guy, and Gamespot has fired him?!? Wow, pathetic. You have a guy that people like, who does A LOT of the site's content, and you fire him for giving his honest opinion on a game? I thought it was some no-name reviewer who was acting stupid, but Jeff? Dam that's stupid. I hope he quickly finds a position in another game site, because if he got fired for honestly reviewing a game, then he is one of the only reviewers I still respect.

You know what's even more Q*EER, other than the people disagreeing with me? Is the fact he tied Master Cheif into the phrase "we'll Be fine" As if he was the only one to ever say that.

I remember Dolph Lundgren saying that as Frank Castle in the Punisher... So now what? I remember Robin Hood saying it too. So what's the gist of his context? He's an ASS SLAP... a huge one! I hate him and EA and Gamespot. All of them.

Hmm I think because it has to do with the gaming industry, he used a quote from a popular video game that some readers could relate to.

LOOK AT THE BANNER ON TOP,LOL!

EDIT: EVEN IF IT'S ALL STAGED GAMESBLOW,I'M NEVER GOING TO SUPPORT ANYTHING NOR ANYONE THAT HAS TO DO WITH THEIR WEBSITE,IN OTHER WORDS,I,THE GAMER,LOSE NOTHING.

gamesblow3436d ago

That's so lame... As I posted in the article pertaining to it. It's so absurd that everyone is taking advantage of this situation in favor of getting more hits, support and ad support. Everyone.

That is about the lowest form of spite I've seen. Destructoid is about as bias as they come. Confessed xbox fanboy on gamehead, the main editor there at Destructioid shouldn't be mocking anyone.
