The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is an excellent entry into the series, but its rough spots prevent it from achieving true brilliance. It's still a fantastic choice for any Wii gamer, and it deserves to be in your library.
Hol7y shit that game is incredible. Easily one of the top 3 LOZ titles of all time. Every time i've popped it in i've lost at least 4 hours of my life and regret nothing.
Agree... and disagree. I am loving the game, but at the same time I am hating the controls. They added motion control to everything and it is ridiculous. I thought It was going to be like Twilight Princess but with more polish. It is uncomfortable to play like this, and the aiming is not even with the IR so it makes it horrible.
Odd, I like the motion controls. I think they made that choice because that way the wiimote is calibrated regularly. The way you center is pretty effective and I like the mechanic I feel it does add to the experience plus they tweaked just enough so it does feel totally new in a way I was not prepared for. Maybve you just don't play many wii games. Try minimizing the motion you use and rest you hand on your leg when you need to keep your hand steady. Someone really needs to make a playing wii motion games properly video explanation because too many people play them with their arm outstretched like morons then over exert themselves underestimating the sensitivity and wonder why wii games make them tired.
best zelda game period. Made for dolphin. At 1080 p this is beautiful and i cry every time i watch those cutscenes. Motion cotrls are amazing, theyre perfect
