The Ds is best suited for rpgs and strategy games, aswell as casual ones like card games chess checkers tetris, while the psp is good for action adventure games like Syphon filter castlevania and metal gear solid.

I have a PSP slim and I do like its collection of action and RPG games, (Jeanne D'arc, Disgaea, FF Tactics, etc), but I like a lot of the RPG games (there's a lot of them) available for the DS as well, it really came down to a difficult choice. You can't go wrong with either one.

I think if we consider recent releases and soon to be released titles plus its new functionality and design the PSP wins as the Handheld of choice for this holiday

But if you get both its a Win Win situation :P

I seriously want a white PSP Slim, but it's not available. And I am NOT settling for that wimpy Star Wars Battlefront pack with that lame Darth Vader imprint. Plus it's not even removable!

YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED.PERIOD.

MY ONLY PROBLEM WITH THE DS IS THE FRIEND CODE SYSTEM,NINTENDO,I'M HOPING FOR GAMERTAGS ON THE DS2!

I agree with you i have both of them aswell and i am loving it.

I'd say they're about equal, only I'd advise a DS for the younger crowd and PSP for the older.

I don't think it's that easy. Older demographic likes plenty of RPG's thinking games which DS has a plenty. PSP is for those who want multifeatures while DS is for those who just want something for gaming.

I agree with most just go for the best of both worlds.
