GP: "Saints Row 2 was a deliciously fantastic game. It was a huge improvement over the first game, and used superb storytelling for an open-world game, charmingly despicable characters, and absurdity in both the minigames and in the escalation of the main story, all to create, for me, the greatest open-world experience that has ever existed. This made the prospect of Saints Row: The Third exciting. This filled it with potential. This gave it just enough rope to hang itself. And in some ways, hang itself it did."
