Its time to once again hit the streets, as the Saints Row gang work to restore their lost pride and criminal reputation in this new and mad sequel to their previous sandbox games.
This game's just...mad. Still, I prefer them to GTA (since IV). Though GTA is technically better, Rockstar seems to have forgotten about the fun, silly things to do - which is what made VC and San Andreas such a joy to play.
yeah, i know exactly what you mean, the fun about open world games is exploring and doing crazy stuff, im picking up my ps3 copy later on down the road.
I've never played any of the Saints Row games but this does look like a very fun place to start, although I heard that there are a lot of bugs and issues, so I really don't mind waiting and picking this up at a later stage at a lower price
It is a fun place to start although 2 was better game al around it was buggier than 3 and more difficult. SR is one of the most fun games I have ever played and thats what devs seem to forget these days FUN.
@WobblyOnion, Really reminds me of VC which is a good thing! Cars don't handles like real cars and it's good like that. Cars are just to get from one place to another... GTA4 had big production values but got too serious imo. Lost it's "fun" somewhere down the line... Anyway, so far, I'm enjoying it!
It really has its own identity as well now, it's gone full out to cement that fact.Anyone saying that Saints Row is a GTA clone is sorely mistaken.
Well it was initially, but has taken on a life of its own. I like how that happened.
I agree saints row is about gang warfare and loads of hectic fun GTA is a one man killing machine based in a serious environment.
ya but you can't really say that about all the gta games. I mean gta 4 was the more serious one. San Andreas had a lot of gang warfare.
This looks to be a decent game, can't wait for my copy
