It's amazing how long it took Nintendo to make the Wii look like a true present day arcade console, Skyward pulls this off. The only other great looking title I can really say is worth mentioning would be how good Avatar looked on the Wii... but the game wasn't nearly as fun, just speaking aesthetically.

For holding true to the 'childish' nature of the series, Skyward is just as much fun as many of the original 2D-ish adventures and I can only say i've really enjoyed Wind Waker this much, and Skyward gives so much more!
