Rocksmith (the band): Ubisoft’s lawyers “have been flexing their muscles”

Having claimed they never intended to release their music game Rocksmith in the UK and Europe, Ubisoft are still in a legal stand-off with the band of the same name, and their lawyers have been “flexing their muscles” says the band’s drummer Kris Ford.

Who cares if they are not a big name band, that doesn't give a super rich company the right to muscle in on their copyrights because they think they can.

If it were a hugely successful, and well known, band there were be no issue as Ubisoft would quickly back off as they know they are in the wrong. Here we see a classic case of a rich company thinking they can steamroll over the little man even when they know they are in the wrong.

Eh I agree to a point, I don't think copyrights should go into other forms of entertainment though...just stupid IMO at least when it comes to names of things.

I'm not sure who's sueing who here though, either way I think they're in the wrong I just figured it was the band trying to cash in on a big corporations money.
