In honor of Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Edition, the GameZone staff reflects on their favorite Halo memories.
is the grass when you crash onto the halo, my jaw hit the floor
Great memories of a classic, too bad the co-op lag in Anniversary has ruined a lot of the nostalgia for me.
ooohhhhh when we were first landing in the level The silent cartographer with a bunch of marines and storming the beach. i was like OMFG!! this is amazing
ya, and till this day i still don't think there is a shooter that has left me so impressed, be it call of duty or killzone..
The last mission on co-op, fantastic.
Warthog run, never gets old.
Mine is when The Flood burst on the scene, totally freaked me out! Actually played it earlier today on CEA and although it's lost its impact somewhat, it's definitely one of the defining moments in Halo overall.
been there done that
I remember when the game was first announce at macworld a lot of people don't know that halo was originally a macintosh game. microsoft saw that apple had a very hot product for them to push their xbox, that was the game to push it it. When it finally came out for the macintosh it was a lot of fun, especially multi player. The first halo is still my favorite
fav. Halo 1 moments were the 16 player LAN parties... that alone made some of my PS2 owning friends fall inlove with Xbox!
I've never played Halo in my life. That said, I wouldn't be opposed to playing the HD remake of the first game. Also, please don't throw virtual stones at me just because I've never played Halo. =(
HALO 4 LIFE Good Times - Im excited about the Trilogy - said to be darker and more serious; like the new batman movies compared to the old ones
