Square-Enix Reveals Plans For New Hitman Game

GxC: "With fans of the hit Hitman franchise awaiting the latest installment in the series to come along, Hitman Absolution, Square-Enix has briefly revealed plans for another game in the series." (Hitman: Absolution, PC, PS3, Square Enix, Square Enix Montréal, Xbox 360)

With two different studios developing Hitman games, I wonder what kind of differences we can expect in the gameplay and story-telling.

Maybe the Montreal studio will be developing a Vita game... ?

Well, we probably will not hear anything about the game for a while since the studio will not even be around until 2012. :/

That's fine, I wouldn't expect them both to come out at the same time anyway. Absolution is the one that is to come out first and that's the one I'm most interested in now.

It looks good so far.

The new one looks great. I wonder if it's a new spin on the series.

I love Dues Ex (it may be my GOTY) so my faith in Square-Enix as a publisher is restored.

Yeah, they did a great job with that game.

square actually developed Deus Ex since Eidos is just a studio that Square owns, meaning it's pretty much part of Square, just like First Production Department back in Japan

I also bought Uncharted 3, Batman AC, Gears 3 and BF3 this fall...I find myself playing and enjoying Deus EX over the rest so, yeah, it's my GOTY thus far. But I do love a good SP experience so I'm biased against Gears and BF3.

I'll grab Skyrim when exams are completed and determine my personal GOTY winner.
