Well my personal favorite main themes are
Metal Gear Solid 2
Duke Nukem 3D
Some of the Diablo 2 ones

Would have loved to see Deus Ex and Homeworld's themes on there as well. And the awesome, iconic UT theme. God how I love that theme.

I do not see how it is number one. Din't seem like anything special. Especially when you have Starcraft and Halo themes in there.
