I am super hyped for Starhawk! Having the chance to play it at E3 2011, I was blown away! I think you all will think the same ;)

StrongMan2162d ago

Why the hell do you only have one bubble?

Anyway, keep up the good work Nick.

It because he is regarded as boring, unlike-able, and that he has nothing of interest to say that hasnt already been said many times.

Not that im saying that is my opinion but that is the general concensus on his site as you can see from the disagrees regardless of what he says.

As it happens i do in fact share that opinion but i thought i would try and answer your question in an unbiased way.

BitbyDeath2162d ago

Starhawk will be awesome, there's already a few people playing the beta right now even though it doesn't officially begin til Tuesday.

Hope i get in. XD

Yes halo 4 was confirmed on the 360, did they say halo 4 was 360 exclusive. No the didnt meaning it could also be on the nextbox.

Game4life2162d ago (Edited 2162d ago )

I don't want to sound mean or anything but i think its ridiculous that people even thought it was gonna be on the 720.(or will be) What warrents that it would even come ot the 720 or Project loop or whatever you want to call it? Because people keep listening to all these rumors about a console that hasnt even been announced? I really don't think it would The 360 needs to drop in price (higher model) before it's really even considered to be within a year or so of releasing. It's still 300$ for a 250 gig model. Anyone thinking it would come out as a release title on the 720 is being a little delusional. It won't it will be a 360 exclusive title.

I'm just being a realist.

Zelda Twilight Princess was on both the Gamecube and the Wii.

Therefore, there is a possibility of Halo 4 going to the same route since it is not unheard of for such things to happen.

Arnon2161d ago

Twilight Princess was on the Wii and Gamecube because both of those consoles are almost identical in terms of hardware.

I'm going to assume that the next Xbox will be better than the 360, and if that's the case, then they would have to completely remake the game to accommodate the new Xbox's hardware, which is time, and money consuming.

Game4life2160d ago

it seems people just don't understand what I'm getting at.

ZippyZapper2162d ago

There have been many games that have been released duel platform. Check your console history, when each gen starts at first many games are on both.

SITH2161d ago

Exactly. I bought battlefield modern combat for my Xbox, and then my 360. Halo anniversary is the most recent remake, a Xbox original. I am just being a realist with supporting facts. :)

Wh15ky2160d ago (Edited 2160d ago )

A new Halo game exclusive to a new console would be a huge incentive for any Halo fan to take the leap to new gen hardware.

Why would Microsoft not take advantage of that?

Bob5702162d ago

I have no idea where people get this idea that Halo 4 would be made for the next gen Xbox. They very clearly announced it for the Xbox 360 when it was first announced. How hard is that to understand?

StrongMan2162d ago

The Halo Anniversary didn't come with the Halo 4 beta for a reason.

DarkBlood2161d ago

plausible enough you could be onto something there

SleazyChimp2161d ago

I have been a fan of Halo since the first box and always pay close attention when a new one is announced. One thing I noticed over the years is Halo never uses pre-rendered cut scenes in the game or the trailers (except halo wars). They have always used the in game engine. Having said that take a look at that e3 trailer again and tell me the 360 is pulling that off?

Bob5702160d ago (Edited 2160d ago )

I too have been a fan of Halo for a long time. Since 2003 actually. I'm just about as hardcore of a Halo fan as they come.

Do you remember how ridiculously good Halo 2 looked in it's teaser trailer? How about Halo 3? How about Reach in it's world premier trailer? As you may remember, they were all on the games' engines, but none of them looked anywhere near as good as their trailers.

That said, I still would bet almost any amount of money that Halo 4's trailer was CGI. The Halo 3 TV ad was CGI, and so was ODST's teaser(s)

I would also like to point out that 343i is not Bungie. They do things a little bit differently. Halo 4 was also announced for the Xbox 360, the trailer even has the 360 start up sequence at the end.

To be honest, I really do hope you are right and I am wrong. I would love noting more than to play Halo 4 with next gen graphics. After looking back, I just don't see any possible way that Halo 4 wouldn't be an Xbox 360 title.

SleazyChimp2160d ago

@Bob570 Nice links to the trailers that awesome. I'll agree on the ODST being CGI; but as far as the main games go, those trailers were made from scenes directly from the games.

Bathyj2161d ago

If Halo 4 isnt on Xbox3 (I refuse to use the ridiculous name of 720 until its official, and then I have to sound ridiculous like everyone else), then we can just about guarantee a Halo 5 will be in the works.

Hudahudahuda2161d ago

Cod killed halo
Cod also killed fps

SDF Repellent2161d ago

COD did not killed Halo. Halo Reach is almost over 9 millions sold wordwide and is still play by the thousands on Live everyday. Same with Halo 3. Halo 4 regardless which system it will be on, should be great just like the rest of the series.
