MP1st - "We recently got our hands on a full list of weapon damage in Battlefield 3. Each weapon is organized by class and shows its rate of fire, magazine size and damage at distances of up to 100 meters." (Battlefield 3, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

Very interesting to see this.
Although people shouldn't take it too serious, what i mean is you should stick with the weapons that you feel most comfortable with and do well with, instead of forcing yourself to use another weapon because it has better stats.

A lot of FPS games these days have that one OP gun that everyone "should" use in order to do well. I don't think we should be punished for "playing it our way." It's all about balance baby!

I agree, although i would replace "should" with "could".
But to be honest, i really don't think there is any gun that's OP in BF3. They all have their strengths, but for every strength there is a weakness. That's from my experience anyway.

Agreed. I use whatever gun I feel I am best with regardless of the stats.

For whatever reason I have been doing well with the M27 IAR. I usually suck with LMGs. But I think the smaller clip/mag size of 45 verus 100 makes it close to a assault rifle.

I have tried other guns but find myself going back to the M27. Just FEELS right for ME.

I like the Scar stopping power but just not good with it for whatever reason.

Early on when the game first came out I was doing really well with the 870 and couldnt wait to get the semi auto shotty. But once i unlocked it...barely used it. As I had gotten used to the M27 by that point
