... Nintendo aims (or claims) to do DLC as it SHOULD be done, which is admirable.

"With games carrying a pretty hefty price tag to only then be told that you’re not getting a full experience is a little messed up"

Well said, GamersXTREME. Ninty is great.

I don't mind the odd spell of DLC but when it comes as locked content on the disc or OTT pricing, I develop a hate for it.

Actually, that quote you just complimented on was my personal quote, not Reggie's :P

Glad to see you agreed with it!

Bad business move. Good for the consumers.(kinda)
But of course this means games like Call of Duty and Grand Theft Auto will be better off played on PS3/360 since they'll end up having much more content.

I think nintendi means the games that they make. They don't have much control about 3rd party.

The only reason why it is a bad business move is that gamers are too stupid not to pay for DLC. But if your target is soccer mom and her nine year old, soccer mom is too smart to fall for DLC's tricks. DLC exists because gamers will pay it. Its our own fault. Kudos to Nintendo for attempting to access a market that won't be fooled by it.
